And everything I have been through since has prepared me to help you.

Most people choose entrepreneurship. I inherited it.
My mother was an entrepreneur. She started several companies, sold them, and raised five kids on her own after my father passed away when I was fourteen. Many days I would be dropped off by the bus after school, and I would be put to work in her businesses — learning the language of ownership without even realizing it. She was my first mentor, and I did not even know it at the time.
When I was old enough, she and I started our first business together — a fitness company — and I got my personal trainer certification all at the same time. Within a year of opening, she was diagnosed with stage four cancer. She passed away less than a year later.
“I was a mother of two school-age kids, grieving, and still responsible for a business. I kept going — because that is what she showed me.”
We built that first business the hard way — no playbook, no roadmap, figuring it out as we went. We did not know what we did not know. After five years, we closed it and donated the equipment. But I was not done.
I took some of my mother's inheritance and started over. A fitness boot camp for women — this time with a system, a playbook, and support behind me. I felt the difference from day one. That experience changed something in me. I wanted more.
Over the years that followed, I built multiple gym locations, added boot camp instruction, and eventually purchased a franchise. I became one of the top performers in the entire franchise system for four consecutive years. At my peak, I had four franchise locations and a fifth independent gym. In 2019, I sold all five and stepped into what was next.
That same year I launched Franment to help people find the right franchise, and Stone Funding Solutions a few years later — because I had watched too many capable business owners hit a wall when it came to capital and walk away from something great.
Then I bought another franchise. It turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my business life (long story). I rebranded it from scratch and rebuilt it completely on my own terms.
“I could have called it a failure. I chose to call it a learning experience.”
Along the way, I also owned a construction company in the service industry and have run my own consulting practice for over seven years. I have coached people on a gym floor and built strategies in my own business as well as helping others. I have been the person with no one to call in the middle of a hard business moment — and I know exactly how that feels.
That is the whole reason I built Ready Set Own.
Whether you are ready to sell what you have built, want to grow and run it better, or are starting from scratch with nothing but an idea — I have sat in every one of those seats. I am not here to hand you a generic plan. I am here to help you build the right one, for your business, your goals, and your life.
You do not have to figure this out alone.
Some days you need someone to build the plan. Some days you need someone to push you. Most days you need both. I read where you are and I show up accordingly.
I am in your corner. I believe in you when you doubt yourself.
I build the strategy, the systems, and the playbook.
I have walked this road. I share what I know so you do not have to learn it the hard way.
